BeingWithYou Help Foundation incepted from a personal need of the founder director when her in-laws and mother were admitted in the hospital. Managing work, her home and staying in the hospital at the same time had all become very exhausting.

During this time, she realized that there are many people like her who would appreciate a little help so they can complete their other household or daily tasks. In January 2019, the foundation began work with 5 volunteers and today there are over 100 volunteers in Pune and 40 volunteers in Mumbai and have provided 3000 hours of service through them.

These volunteers accompany the patients for 3 hours in the hospitals or at home and provide non-medical assistance. Volunteers also take patients to hospitals for follow ups, dialysis or chemotherapy. The service was soon extended to senior citizens at home, where our volunteers read books, play crossword puzzles, or simply chat with them.
